Job of the Day: Editorial manager with March of Dimes

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: March 16, 2012
After spending the past weekend with my niece and nephew, I’m thanking my lucky stars I don’t have kids—for their sake, of course.

However, those kids are my favorite thing in the world, which makes me all the more thankful that back in 1938, good ol’ FDR had those tiny tots in mind when he established an organization to protect their health, as well as that of their mothers.

That organization would go on to become the March of Dimes. And despite its noble efforts, the organization has to work to keep its name in the press. In fact, it’s a full-time job. Actually, it could be your full-time job.

The nonprofit is hiring an editorial manager to create effective communication on behalf of the cause, while remaining loyal to its policies.

To learn more about applying, click here; if you’re so inclined, you could donate, too.
