later that day, and in just 25 hours and 17 minutes reached 1 million followers. That’s good enough for the Guinness record for fastest to reach the milestone, according to Mashable
In a tweet, Sheen thanked his Twitter followers for helping hit a million.
Here’s the thing: He’s also the first person to own the record. A Guinness spokesperson told Mashable
that the record-keepers didn’t have a previous record in the Twitter category.
Meanwhile, Advertising Age
reported this morning on how Sheen so quickly acquired the account @CharlieSheen
—someone had been “squatting” on the account—and got it verified through Twitter. He did with the help of Ad.ly
The startup, according to Ad Age
