While online etiquette may seem like an oxymoron, we don’t all have to be sentenced to toil in a world of snarky, self-aggrandizing trolls.
With a few easy-to-follow guidelines—like
these for CEOs on social media—the Internet could someday be a happy place.
Luckily, there are people like marketer Eric Welke to keep us in check.
“Social media is a powerful tool just as the traditional media,” Welke writes
in a recent blog post. “Because of this, you need to use it to bring the positive change other than hatred. Therefore, your messages should aim at promoting peace, international integration and understanding between parties.”
Welke created an infographic to that end, giving plenty of useful advice for those of us who toil in social media for a living.
